Junge Quartier Obersendling (JQO)

Munich

GEG has acquired “Junges Quartier Obersendling (JQO)” for its special open-ended fund, GEG Public Infrastructure I. The site, which was formerly occupied by Siemens, is being converted into a campus for education and intercultural encounters, with additional areas devoted to residential buildings.

Approximately 20 percent of the space will be used by the city of Munich for offices and administration. Centers for vocational and continuing education will occupy about 60 percent of the space, and about 20 percent will be residential. The quarter has excellent transportation links and is only a few minutes from the city center. The entire project will be completed by mid-2019.
